GDPR & Data Protection
Last updated: 1 January 2026
Profit Auditory serves clients in Ukraine and the European Union and respects the rights granted by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) alongside Ukrainian data-protection law. This page explains the lawful bases on which we process personal data, your rights as a data subject, and how to exercise them.
1. Data controller
Profit Auditory LLC, vul. Doroshenka 12, Lviv, 79000, Ukraine, is the controller of personal data processed in connection with our website and services. Contact: info@profitauditory.com.
2. Lawful bases for processing
We process personal data on one or more of the following lawful bases under Article 6 of the GDPR:
- Consent — for example, when you submit our contact form or accept analytics cookies.
- Performance of a contract — to deliver the accounting services you have engaged us for.
- Legal obligation — to comply with tax, accounting, and other statutory requirements.
- Legitimate interests — to operate, secure, and improve our website and respond to enquiries, balanced against your rights.
3. Your rights as a data subject
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access — obtain confirmation of whether we process your data and a copy of it.
- Rectification — have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
- Erasure — request deletion of your data where there is no overriding legal reason to keep it.
- Restriction — ask us to limit how we process your data in certain circumstances.
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent — withdraw any consent you have given, at any time, without affecting prior processing.
4. How to exercise your rights
To exercise any of these rights, email info@profitauditory.com with details of your request. We will respond within one month, as required by the GDPR, and may ask you to verify your identity first. There is normally no charge for exercising your rights.
5. International transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside Ukraine or the European Economic Area, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place — such as standard contractual clauses or transfers to countries with an adequacy decision — to protect your data to the standard required by the GDPR.
6. Supervisory authority
If you are in the EU and believe we have not handled your data properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority. In Ukraine, oversight is provided by the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman). We would, however, appreciate the chance to address your concern directly first.
